Duncan Cameron entertained the
gathering with friendly banter while at the same time managing to relieve
them of substantial funds at the Auction of some very valuable gifts which
had been generously donated by friends of the family. Many other gifts also
featured in a very successful Raffle. Many people
contributed to the success of the Golf Day and it is important to record our
thanks. They include – -
the
Board of Glenbervie Golf Club along with the Secretary; the catering and bar
staff; the greenkeeping staff; the staff of the Pro shop; -
the
generous donors of prizes for the Auction and the Raffle; the Auctioneer
(Duncan Cameron); the Raffle ticket sellers(Rena Oates and Bobby Abernethy): -
and
above all the 68 golfers who supported the event by coming along and playing. -
Thanks
to the efforts of everyone, Anna’s Fund has benefited by the grand total of
£1790. |
